Sperry

Art Direction-

Project Scope: Re-Brand, Concept Development & Package Design.

After months of collaboration, we helped position Sperry as the brand that promises quality cleaning products and laces. Sperry new packaging improved their visual identity and reconnected their shoe care and laces with their overall all presence in the shoe industry.

Laminated vs Uncoated Paper

The materials defined the project; not only from the costing point of view but the final quality, workmanship and lead time. We updated the bottle to a Amber Boston Round to give it a antique finish. The Kraft material selection had some issues that concerned us. Would the label make it through production and be retail ready? Lamination would protect against finger marks and grease but lamination would lose the organic Kraft finish we were trying to achieve. Using uncoated paper could reduce the vibrancy of the color. Through testing and sampling we were able to adjust the color and approve uncoated paper. With little to no production problems it was the superior choice.
